Training Courses

The research team responsible for developing the methodology run regular training courses for those interested in using this technique. Other groups are also conducting training. This page lists any known upcoming courses, as well as all courses previously conducted.

Two types of courses are normally run:

  • An introductory course, running for 4 or 5 days. This may include an overview of half to one day for policy makers and those interested in the methodology, but who do not need to develop their own models. This is followed by hands on practice using pre-worked examples and developing particpants' own models, using spreadsheets or on-line software.
  • Master Classes, for those already trained and using the methodology, to assist in model development, share experience and update particpants on the latest developments.

Please contact us if:

  • you are running your own training course and wish to add your course details here
  • you are interested in attending a course and want to be notified of any new courses
  • you are interested in organising a training course
